Where to buy an oil cover

    Hi,
I have an SC engine that I am fitting into my 1970 2.2T. The engine is a 930/13 (1979 Sportomatic) and doesn't need the original oil pump for the sporto gearbox as the car has a standard manual 915 gearbox. Unfortunately the oil pump and cover did not come with the engine. What I need is the cover and associated gasket.

An example on an engine at Essen

From page 50 of the PET catalogue (up to year 1983).

I think I need parts 6 & 7 from the catalogue. Can anyone confirm that part 6 is the same as the one shown on the picture on the Essen engine. If so, any idea where I can get the part from? I've tried a few places and it appears to be NLA.

    Many thanks
    Paul

Should be available from Porsche, and other supply companies. It's just a big welsh plug, nothing special.
