Installing a serpentine as a gearbox cooler

    Dear all,

I had a right front fender serpentine as an engine oil cooler, and figured out quickly this one not sufficient for track use Therefore I decided to upgrade to 3.2 fender oil cooler.
Now I have this spare serpentine and know it can be placed into the left front fender and used to cool the gearbox fluid, which is 915.

Has anyone have done it ? knows how to do it ? Any pics ?

    Cheers

    Xavier

The pump originally drove off the gearbox, I think I saw an electric setup being done by WEVO now. Although they place the cooler in a different spot.

    Any other setup around ?
Iknow Patrick Motorsport provides some oil pump too, then will need to get the parts to get into the gearbox.

I think the factory left side cooler loop is mirror image to the right side, so I'm not sure yours would work without additional modifications.

    Mike, Cheers

I believe the easiest part is to moun the serpentine in the left front fender, getting the oil lines into the gearbox should not be tricky. BUT I think the Gearbox case needs modifications to get the oil line in and the one out plus the electric oil pump if any.
