Lower Rocker Trim on E question

While perusing this forum I started looking at some of the before/after shots of your cars and realized I prefer the look of the E without this trim. But I don't want to modify the car in a way that it can't be easily reversed. When you all remove the trim do you fill the holes or is there another way to hide these holes?

There's about 8 screw holes that need to be filled, along the rocker and on the fender lips.

If you descide to put it back on you'll need to drill new holes.

A number of the cars that you see, have probably had the outer rocker replaced as part of the restoration. When you see how much dirt and crap gets stuck under that trim piece, it's hard to contemplate putting it back on IMO.

Thank you Tony. Sounds like I need to leave it on or head down the road of customization.
