Thread: Porsche recommended reading?

    Question Porsche recommended reading?

    Hello everyone,

First and foremost - I apologize if this is a double post - I searched quite a bit and didn't find anything.

Anyway - knowledge, as they say, is power. I'm a relatively young Porsche enthusiast (29) who wasn't fortunate enough to actually live the bad old days, so I have to resort to reading about them. I've already read maybe a dozen books, but I wanted to see if we can compile a list of books that you guys feel are the best or offer the most information. Some are most certainly better than others. A few books which will remain nameless offered less than most internet threads do today, but I'm sure there's a wealth of good info out there that I haven't even scratched the surface of. I'm mainly interested in racing history and performance, but I'm open to learning about any and all things Porsche.

    Cheers,

    Sean

    right now I am reading

Porsche - The Rally Story, Laurence Meredith

Meridith is an Englishman and it shows in his jovial writing style. And he is opinionated on the trajectory that took the sport of Rally.

A great read with tons of images.
