73 sport seat - vinyl grain question

Autos International sent me a sample of what they believe is the correct vinyl for my 73 factory sport seats (that I believe some but not all of the seat panels may have been replaced), and while it matches the grain on the other interior parts, the vinyl on the seats looks to be of a much heavier grain. While I suspect some of what I am seeing is years of creases, even the grain in 'non-seat' areas is much heavier. I would appreciate hearing thoughts and ideally a close up photo of a known original vinyl sport seat to compare. Thank you.Name: vinyl grain.jpg

That does not look like original vinyl, on the seat that is.

I can grab some pics tomorrow if it helps as we are restoring 4 pairs at the moment. I can send a pic of original and the vinyl we use if it helps?

    Thanks

I too think that what AI sent you is correct not the one on the seat.

Thank you for the offer to send a photo...the vote so far is for the material on the LEFT so the drama continues. Can I assume that your seats are known to be original? Thank you

If you post a couple of detail photos of your seat it will be easy to tell whether it's a recover.
