    73 S - battery box holes question..

    Re the attached photo, I assume the side hole on the battery box was used originally to run the battery vent through it, but can anyone tell me the purpose of the top hole (both battery boxes have identical configurations/holes). Thank you

    I believe these are used to mount the through-the-grill fog lights.

    Plugs are still available; I recall seeing them on a supplier's site but can't recall which one.

    They are TTG. I just installed mine. I have the plugs if you need them but they may not match the beauty of that box. They have discolored a bit yellow since the plugs are white plastic. At least mine were.
