    Help ID'ing 6 cyl Distributors (w/4cyl drive tangs)?

    OK - the drive tang looks like a good old Porsche or VW flat 4 drive tang (also used on NSU 4cyls, btw).

    However, the cap and points cam are both 6 cyl. Any idea what these are off of?

    Yes, I hope someone says "Those are from the Porsche 6 cyl prototype engines for the 901" Heh. I expect someone just put them together or something??

    That thing is no where near anything Porsche. Most likely a 6cyl MBZ from the 50s.

    Thanks - you are right. I googled the numbers and they came right up. Should have done that first. But the 4cyl drive with a 6 cyl top end made me curious.
