    Tire Question

I have just restored my 71 targa. New bare metal paint, new interior, recaro sport seats. I really did it up.
Now the finally. The original 6x15 fuch wheels will be back from Al Reed refinishing soon. What would be the best tire to install. Size and brand. Assuming cost is no object.

195/65 would be closest to original diameter. But, many guys move "up" to 205/60, which has a slightly smaller diameter. The highest speed rating you can get is pretty desirable. I recently heard that Coker tire no longer makes the original XWX replica which was 185/70/15...that would have been a "cost no object" choice, but only if originality was your goal.
