    911 R Tailight assembly

    Hi All,

Newbie to the forum here, and although I've owned 3 previous 911's definitley not a expert or techhie. A while back someone posted about another source for 911R tailight bezels and perhaps another ( I am aware of GT-Racing) source for the lenses. If anyone has that information, I would surely appreciate it.

I have just begun restoring a 1967 'S'. Good mechanically, body needs some attention. Love the 911R look. Not too many connections in regards to Porsche and parts up here in Fairbanks, Alaska.

    Any information appreciated.

    A.B.

    welcome...

There are e few recent discussions about the lenses on the Pelican Board. here I think Jack got his from a guy in South Africa?

Is your car the light ivory 67S that sold in Anchorage a few month ago?

Thanks very much for for the reference. My car is a short-time ex-Diefenbach unit. Just starting the restoration process on it. Some rust although does not seem to be terminal. Media blasting will tell the story soon. Could take years and cost millions of lives to finish though.
