    Hella 169 foglights

Does anyone have a pair of Hella 169 foglights for sale? Amber lenses are preferred.

I just read on Pelican that these foglights are wrongly referred to as "169" (probably due to Brett Johnson) and should be 139 instead. Anyway, I would like to have original or reproduction foglights for a 1969 (LWB) cars, which means that the type of foglight I'm looking for is the one used on 1969 - 1973 cars.

I know that they are still for sale new (approx. 280 USD) but I prefer used ones.

    Thanks,
    Danny

I have one of the amber lights, bought new recently but never used. They are correctly referred to as model 169 lights. Also the lens is clear on either the clear or amber style, and the bulb is the same in both- it is the reflector inside the housing that is tinted to give the yellow/amber appearance.

Hi Jerry, I don't understand this very well: you send me a PM that you have a part for sale that I have been looking for, for a very long time. I respond to your PM the same day (I am in Europe) and then you tell me that they have already been sold....? Please don't get me wrong, I am very glad for you that you got what you wanted, but you could at least have provided me the chance to make an offer as well.

Has it become common practice nowadays that people (like Bazz) jump on other people's threads to try to "steal" something away?

I've bought from Michael Lederman in the past, with good results, seems to have hard to find lights.

    Contact details for Michael

    Danny,
You can email Michael Lederman at michael@motorsportsclub.com
He is located in West Hollywod.
He has a great selection of lights - many are NOS & his prices are "market-value" - no bargains but you get what you pay for. I have purchased a few things from him over the years - straight up guy.
Good luck finding what you're after,
