Value of Sigla Windshield. Light tint. No band

I have this extra windshield that may be of interest to original purist types.

Sigla Windshield. Light tint. No band

Should this be saved for a totally original car? Or is it just a run of the mill piece that can be "driven".

I pulled this out of a car that died an indignant storage death so it is very good shape and I believe to be original.

    And insight would be great.

what timing! i just posted a WTB ad for one of these. that said, originality is nice but not a requirement. my car is a nice, straight, stock '69E that gets driven and is in no danger of becoming a garage queen during my watch. if this really belongs on a show car, i'm not going to get in anybody's way.
so guys... is this thing too good for me ?
    inquiring minds want to know.
    cheers

Well, a dark band looks wrong on an early car. I think I have a bit of a band, but it is not that noticable to me. I think the correct windsheild is definately a plus, but I wouldn't risk it as I track my car. For a nicer daily and sometimes shown car, this would be an asset, IMHO. I really, really nice shape, it might make it for a full on show car. Concours 100 pts. ? Your guess.
