    69e

Does not have the original hood emblem???

Must be a re-paint! With later foglights too.

Sounds like it is a must see in person before bidding to see what else is amiss.

It does look good in pics and engine looks clean. He did not mention the owners manual and other documents, or the elusive toolkit and jack.

    What's it gonna fetch?

I guess we'll wait and see.

    Cheers,
    Scooter

Rear fog light. Does that look right?

Jens, the rear fog lights I've seen, which aren't many, all hung lower, and to the left, below the left reflector area. Note the open trunk pic...anybody have a clue what the little tag above the VIN tag is???? Overall, nice looking car.

    Cool

One more unoriginal detail -rear lenses are Euro but the front turn signal lenses are US?
These little things are certainly all fixable, assuming the rest was done right. You also have to like bahama yellow (butterscotch) to get hot for this car.
That blurb in th description about the 69 911E being a "limited production" car leads me to believe that the guy selling the car is a talker. I would personally check the receipts and facts about the car before drawing any conclusions based upon his statements about the originality of the car.

One other little detail - the decklid grille should not be black.

My guess looking at the pics is that this car is not originally from the U.S. The euro rear lenses, the tag in the trunk, the rear foglight. And aren't those headlights off of a U.S. SWB car. All these things point to a car converted to U.S. specs probably a long time ago.

Nope...like I have the time (given this upcoming weekend!)

Looks nice enough, but as mentioned it could be a Euro conversion...I've never seen this car before.

Sorry to digress Eric, but can you or anyone else confirm which years Porsche offered the coco mats? I see a lot of the later LWB early 911's with them, but I was wondering of the SWB models had them as well. Right now, my 67 has the original rubber mats. Did Porsche offer coco mats in 67 as well?
