Did you see this ad in the classifieds of 911s registry?

    For Sale:
1968 911L Sportomatic with rebuilt engine
Vasek Polak owned 1968 911L Sportomatic with rebuilt engine. $25,000.00. There’s nothing else that can be said about this car that isn’t already on the internet. Less than 800 miles since rebuild. She’s a beautiful work of art with one of the best histories of any classic Porsche on the market. I’m selling this car for two reasons: (1) this car needs to belong to someone who knows Porsches and will drive her more and (2) I want a sailboat and realize that I would rather be on the water than in my beloved Porsche (sacrilege to some I know). Take a look: www.sportomatic.org. More photos are available on request. If you own a sailboat that's worth $25,000.00 or close thereto let me have it appraised and I will consider a trade. Current mileage: 92,420, vin: 11805270. I have a PCA valuation pre-rebuild, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity along with a binder full of information from the previous owner and myself with receipts. Please e-mail chris@chrisandersonlaw.com for any questions as I will be out of the office until Monday the 29th of this month.

    '71E Sporto Coupe

There is a '71 Sporto Coupe sitting at my mechanics with an engine that runs but needs a rebuild. I'm in Georgia, the car is from NJ, the owners left it there 3-4 months ago and, after getting the news of a necessary rebuild have not communicated with the shop since. I'm trying to help them figure out what to do with it. Strange.

It is silver, and looked decent from 5 feet, but I didn't really focus on anything other than the condition of the intake stacks.

Let me know if you want more info or ppics.

I'm not interested (well, maybe in the magnesium MFI intake stacks)

    The above Targa...

...looks decent enough but it is a Targa and I'm looking for a coupe. THanks though.

Isn't there a Euro 74 or 75, 2.7MFI Sporto Carrera on Ebay right now? Thought I saw a thread on that.

    Oh and it's a coupe!

Anything after '73 is a WHOLE different story and not my interest. Thanks for the lead however.
