Is it just me, or does this look like the "ultimate" Beetle Turbo?

    Bugatti Veyron

    Guys:

For a mere 1.2 million, the new Bugatti Veyron is a real terror. 0-60 in 2.5 seconds, 125mph in 7.3 seconds, 186mph in 16.8 seconds. Tops out at 250mph.
    987hp and 921 lb-ft of torque.

Maybe they should clarify that further as the most expensive "New" car in the world. Plenty of early Ferraris, Jag's and Bugatti's go for significantly more than $1.2mil.
The other issue of buying the newest fastest sportscar just for speed is that at least a dozen motorcycles can still blow the doors any of the new super sports cars for well under $15k. A late 80's Ninja will blow this car off the line all the way up to 150mph. Think of how disheartening it would be to have some broke college kid blow by you in an ugly late 80's Ninja just after you dropped $1.2million to impress your new girlfriend the hottest set of wheels on the street. I do love the lime green colored Lambo that Missy Elliot has though... Maybe in 15 years after the car has been sitting in a garage for 10 years because it no longer has the "bling" and she weighs 300lbs and is too big to sit in it anymore, I will track her down and make an offer...
