    Gauge opening sizes

Does anyone have the dimensions for the clock hole in early and late-early 911?

Up to '69 or '70, the gauges are held in by a U-bracket.

Thereafter, the factory enlarged the openings slightly and secured each gauge with a rubber sleeve.

From an archived thread, Dan Byers reported his '71 clock opening at 3.5".

    Anyone with pre-71 info?

    Thanks,

The hole diameter in my 68 is 3.25" and the clock uses the brackets. I hope that helps.

My '70 uses the rubber sleaves- no brackets. It is a very early '70 (9/69 or so).
