    Mystery switch

The pics out of focus but there is a toggle switch in the end of the turn signal stalk. Two postitions, either up or down. Anyone seen this before or know what it might control?

Just one more mystery w.r.t. my 71S.

    Thanks, John

    John,

This looks rather a fascinating and well engineered thingy that Herr Piech would be proud of .
When you have figured out what it is and what someone seems to have gone to a lot of trouble to conceive and execute this natty item, please share it with the rest of us seriously AR '71 S types.
A driving light switch maybe ???

    Cheers,
    Dennis.

On my 67S the rear wiper is operated by a push pull switch under the dash just left of the steering colum, So if the end of the turn signal does switch the rear wiper, what would the push pull switch do that he has?

Fritz, I thought the push/pull switch was the rear wiper as well.
