    Early threaded 901 shifter

    Hey all,

I have an early 901 shifter that has the threaded lever for the early SWB knobs. The lever is offset to the left from the parallel in-line plane like my 70 shifter. Is this normal for these or have I got one that was bent to accomodate some really tall guy? I seem to remember threads where people talked about bending the shift lever so they didn't have to reach so far when their seats were all the way back. I don't have that problem.

    Cheers and Beers,
    Michael

Anyone know? Looks like the bar was twisted to the left after the first bend.
