Pump fuel thru system with engine out?

I have had the engine from my 69S out for a refreshing since November. I hope to be finished in another month or two. Recently I thought it might make sense to try to pump some fuel thru the system and into a can so
the fuel does not start to break down in the fuel lines. Would this be worth doing?

    Don-
I have done this many times after fuel tank cleaning, and fuel line replacement.
It's pretty straightforward, just make sure you have suitable containers at open lines to catch fuel.
Also, the obvious, well ventilated, no spark environment, and eye protection.

Run the line right into the nozzle of a new 2 gallon gas container (I'd say can but I haven't seen a metal one in years).

Tape around the hose/nozzle and make sure the vent on the can is open.

I used to do the same thing on my EFI 280Z. Sometimes I really miss my Zs

There are 2 fuel lines. How do I know which is the right one?
