    Pedal car collectors?

Any pedal cars collectors out there?
Just acquired a Porsche 911 pedal car from the late 70s - early 80s. Missing some detail items - headlight lenses, steering wheel pad. Interested to learn of any websites that may have info to help me with resto.

    Thanks,

    Gary

My dad had an old pedal car from when he was a kid. A Buick. Unbelievable detail. Leather seat.Rubber tires.
My brother and I used to take turns pushing each other as fast as we could in the basement and would inevitably crash it into the lolly columns (wicked understeer)
It was pretty beat up but still solid when my dad took it to an auction
    Sold for $9000 dollars !

would love to see it, have seen a few varieties of 911 pedal cars, and am hoping to pick one up for my son sometime soon.

A friend of mine collects them... Here's his latest find.. A 911turbo Pirelli promotional car with honda motor, transmission with 2 forward gears and 1 reverse, disc brakes and real suspension and adjustable seat.. The detail's and workmanship are incrediable.. This could not have been a cheap toy new..

When I was 4 years old (1964) I had a pedal car (actually a dump truck) and my cousin once pushed me a little too fast down the hill of our street, when I tried to turn into a neighbors driveway I rolled it over and broke my leg.

I can honestly say it was my very first car accident

I too have acquired a lovely little late '70's pedal car I wish to restore. Anyone have any thoughts on who may have parts or resto help for these old treasures?
