    Wanted: 356 Porsche project

    Hi All

I am looking for a 356 project car to try out a new body shop my friends have been using for their Chevys,

Would like something that needs some body work , dents in fenders, doors hoods, and maybe some rust repair work. Or older repair that was done badly with too much bondo etc

Not looking for something that has been crashed hard straight into a wall, I think thats too much for them.

not running OK , no motor OK

If you know where one is please send me a PM,

    thanks for your help

    Dave

    Dave,

Go to the 356 Registry: http://www.356registry.org/MemberSwap/,

or the Porsche/356 section of the Samba:http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/

There are (almost) always cars listed at Hemmings: http://www.hemmings.com/makepage/porsche/

You may also consider posting a "car wanted" classified on the 356 Registry or Samba. Sometimes folks need a bit of prodding to unearth that car sitting in the back of the garage.

Still looking for a project car

I would rather buy one that I do not have to make a rush decision,

I have seen too many guys make buying mistakes because there were others pushing them to decide right then , not a smart way to spend your money,

Anyway if you know of a project 356 sitting around or a half finished project in a shop please send me a PM

    thanks for your help

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

I have 3 cars that might work.

I have three cars on the For Sale section of my website. They're all Coupes.
I'll negotiate on the prices. They are all very good cars, but still projects. They might be better than what you're looking for.
