    Help Identify My G-Pa's Watch

When my grandpa passed away 2 years ago he left me 2 watches.

    1) 195? Omega Seamaster. I wear it every day and I love it. I had it reconditioned and it's AMAZING. Very classy and the chicks dig it.

    2) Jules Jurgensen Est. 1740 <-- this is the one I need help with. Does anyone know anything about these watches? This particular example is 18K gold, doesn't work, and has no distinguishing marks other than a crown on the face of the dial.

Thanks, fellas. I appreciate the help.

Marco - I'm checking with my brother who is somewhat of a watch collector. I don't believe Jules Jurgensen watches in general are particularly valuable, but maybe this is the exception! You could also scan thru www.timezone.com classifieds (go to 'Community', then 'Sales Corner') and see if something similar is for sale.

I don't figure it will be worth all that much. I'm more interested in just learning about the watch itself. A friend has already given me a little bit to go on and I'll follow that link and see what I can dig up.

    Thanks, guys.
