I know, these are expensive but last forever, but..........
Does anyone have a vendor that discounts to a reasonable figure? Best I've found is 20.00 and change each.

Way too expensive......
Get the NGK B7ES. I changed to those from the Bosch plugs a year ago, and frankly like the performance better. The best part is $1.99 EA and you can get them at your local auto parts place. You can also run B8ES if you prefer a hotter plug. I've used the 7's on the track and on the street and find they work well accross the board.
Good luck,
Chris

Great advice from Chris,...
Skip the W5DPO's and get the NGK's.

You can run those B7ES (or BP7ES) for everything but full-on track work.
I'm looking forward to seeing pics of your car (and those pesky brackets,..

Just a minor correction. NGK's plugs are colder the higher the number, so an '8' is colder than a '7'. Bosch is the opposite with '3' (I believe) being the coldest plug they sell. NGK's coldest is '9'.Originally Posted by Chris Tallon

Thanks Matt, you're right.
Sorry for the confusion. NGK and Bosch are classified differently.
Just a quick question to Steve....As I will be tracking my car more in 07, (maybe 6 events, 200 miles per event) Is it advisable to run the B8ES for the track events and switch back to the 7's for street use? Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance for your advice.
