    1970 911s Front Windshield

Yes, it happened. Went for the evening cruise and a rock kicks up and cracks my front windshield. Pretty mad.. BTW, the rock came from the back of a 2005 pathfinder.

Anyone know where to get the correct tinted German glass?

    Thanks,

    John

Got the glass at Stoddard. It is the factory correct green tint German glass.

If anyone needs one, they are there.

If you don't care about German origin, PPG stocks a nicely tinted WS. I just had mine replaced.

And a tip: have the glass shop use the newer adhesive goo AND A NEW OEM GASKET when they do the replacement. My local shop (Ashland Oregon) guarantees no leaks for the life of the windshield.

I think most of us don't have the green tint glass and that is why the search continues for the NLA original glass.
