    WTB: nice Mercedes 300E/E320

    I'm looking for a nice 300E or E320.....up to 1995 (W124 chassis).

If you know of one let me know.

    Thanks,

    Sleeper

Ahh, what the heck. Go for the big V-8 sleeper 500E and watch for the wide, surprised eyes in your rearview mirror.

A 500E is what I REALLY want but I would feel bad driving it in the winter........I already have enough summer only toys.....

Why do I live in Minnesota?

I have a good friend in Paducah KY that has a 500E that he just called me about yesterday, wanting to sell it... maybe. He just bought a new 997, he has a bunch of cars. He said he went to the garage yesterday to start it, the battery was dead, he said that was the last straw. Silly to have it just sitting in the garage. He is coming over today to see my 73E. My E JUST came out of the booth 2 days ago, wet sanding and buffing have been completed, it comes home this afternoon, after approx 150 man hours of work. Even restored the door weather stripping channels. Said they probably cost me $500... Its only money, I can make more. I can take pictures of the E today if interested, as he is driving it today. 500e

Bill, I may be interested in the 500E if it is very original and low mileage -sounds like it may be.

    Thanks,
