    Tunnel cover question!

When did the rear interior tunnel cover change? My 70 has the two piece, including the mesh. When was the one piece used? What was used for the 73's?

Not always the case, the vents are the intake for the gas heater. The thick tar paper backing was for non gas heat cars, there for most cars have the paper stuck to the back of the cover. The solid cover became more common in 72 and 73.
