    RSR Strut Brace

    Happy New Year to All!!!

Anyone want to convince me not to install a factory RSR strut style brace in my car? Is there proof anything is better?

    Thanks Bret

I have one in my 911R-inspired car & will be putting one in the 2.8 which will be undergoing a bit of a transformation over the winter...

Anyone have a source for one, or dimensions to make your own (I prefer the latter)? Thanks.

I have one ready to install - if you don't get any other replies before then I can take some photos/measurements & post them tomorrow evening.

There is a guy in Germany selling them on ebay. Look at his other auctions as you can pay him €50 or $50 for the same thing!

Does anyone have better pictures of the RSR strut brace installed, e.g., a close up of a perch welded to the tower and it's exact alignment?

Bill - this is from Bob's car at the Taj. This brace was installed by Kremer way back when. And you might as well do the rear shock towers while the welder's still warm ....

The only improvement would be to add the 'X' to the front of the car. I will look for some pics to post.
