    Spindle nut trouble

    Hi guys,

Hoping someone might have some wisdom here. I've searched here and on PP finding no help. I'm buttoning up my front hubs after installing new bearings. I managed to lose one of the spindle nuts. I have the Koni struts and the spindles are 16mm. I ordered another nut from Stoddard. I've tried it on both spindles and it won't thread. However, the old nut with thread on both sides. I've had them ship me out a second nut with the same result. Are there different pitch threads for the 16mm nuts? If so, anyone know who sells both styles?

    Thanks in advance,

    T.

Just a little update on the spindle nut question. I haven't called Paragon yet, but I did have some further conversation with Stoddard. Paul, one of their resident experts seems to recall coming across this issue before. He's put in a question PCNA. Sounds like the Koni struts are NLA, therefore the only 16mm spindle nut corresponds to the 16mm nut for Boge/Bilstien struts. I'll update as I learn more.
