    approx. value of this car?

    1988 Porsche 911 Cabriolet

    64000 Miles

Arctic Silver/Navy Blue Partial Leather/blue top

Northern Cali car its whole life...

Doesn't have many records, although the dealer has performed a major service and replaced a bunch of trim stuff and some mechanicals (hood shocks and the like), along with re-dying some of the leather in the car to the tune of $600.

Paint is original and in excellent condition, along with the interior. Top is also in great condition, looks like it has been replaced with OEM materials.

Listed at $25995, my friend got the dealer to $23,250. Is this too much for the car that is in ready to drive condition?

No leaks, little bit of oil consumption.

    In "excellent" condition, www.kbb.com says:

    Retail value = $27,675

    Private Party value = $23,975

    Trade-In value = $20,475

Lot's of available cabs mostly w/ miles.....64k is low miles for an 88. Personnally, I think that is a very fair price......but then again I own an 87. They are a great cars and I think a value in the Pcar marketplace.

Just as long as he knows what he's doing on that "redye" job. Otherwise, this summer, whatever color clothes you enter the car with, you will exit in partial blue.

    Haha, good point.

Also found another cab, an 89 Silver Anniversary edition, same condition, silver on linen interior, 61K. Wants about $31K, I probably could get him down to $26,500 or so, is it work the extra cheese for the anniversary edition cache?
