    CA Emissions Sticker?

Does anyone else have this type of sticker on their car (Driver's quarter window)? Any information is appreciated. Thanks,

    Andrew

think it started with the 72 or maybe 73 MY and only for CA cars. If you are looking for one KeniK has a source for them.

The one in the picture is mine. It is just odd since my car is an "E". This would indicate that My car was a CA market car or could that sticker have been bought at the dealership and affixed by any owner?

that it says 911S and yours is an E is interesting. it could have been affixed by someone other than porsche or maybe all of these emission stickers said S in 72/73 or maybe it is from a 74 and later car when they were all S's.

maybe someone else on the board has a ca 72/73 car with this sticker showing a T/E/S and can post a picture to clarify

I think it's a decal from a later car, my guess is the glass was replaced at some point, and the sticker came with it. Here's mine, California Delivery S, built in Jan of 1973. I'm pretty darn sure it's original. Also, the standards are quite a bit tighter on the "S" decal.

The sticker on my '72 looks like Jared's but some of the standards and results are different from both posted photos.

yes must be a later sticker 74-? where all 911's were S's pollutants are also much lower than Jared's 73 MY as smog contols kicked in.

interesting that some of the smog outputs are higher on the 72 than it is from the 73
