    71 or 72 seats?? or both large fin handle

    well these came out of an early 72 and wondered if this is a correct seat for 72
    it has the large whale fin backrest control lever and hadnt seen this type before.

    Here's my two cents...the recliner should be black not chrome and the lever should be on the top like that but that one looks different from the ones that I have on my 72 which are smaller. Maybe this is a really early "transition" seat Below is what they usually look like.

    I have seen chromed ones in some 72's

    these are 72E in original tan leather but the driver's recline bracket is chrome?? while the others are black. mismatched?

    I think they may have been replaced with pieces from earlier seats...but I'm no expert...the Johnson book says they should be black.

    my MY71 t has chrome sides and the lever as pictured.
