    901 on the Dyno at the stable

    Alan Klinglen (the Stable in SF) uploaded a video of a 901 race engine that he ran on an engine stand. Besides the goose bumps from the engine sound is it interesting to see the fuel vapor above the carbs

    That fan belt sure looks a bit skinny at 8000 rpm !!

    Ol' Ivory's ('67 911S) engine is coming up on-deck at the Stable shortly. Ted Robinson was to have finished the machine work this week.

    It'll sport 2.2 911S P&Cs, Leisteritz muffler modified to sport muffler, 930 cam chain tensioners with SC tensioner arms, MOD-S cam, 930 rocker arms, SC oil pump, oil by-pass, piston squirters, Raceware rod bolts.

    Webers rebushed by Henry Bierker and rebuilt by Alan.

    Bosch 002 rebuilt by Ed Fall.

    The single plug ignition will help keep it looking as stock as the day it was born as Ol' Ivory's matching numbers engine.

    It'll be a nice way to celebrate the summer.

    Why does he shut it off right after a pull to 8000? Seems like it would be a good idea to keep the fan blowing air over the cylinders and heads for a little cool down after a big pull.
