    PPI in NW Washington State

Can anyone recommend a reputable mechanic to do a PPI on an early-911 I'm looking at in Washington state (nearest towns are Bremerton or Tacoma)?

Where exactly are you? You are probably better off taking a ferry to Seattle, as there are not any wrenches of repute that I can think of in Pierce, Kitsap or Thurston County.

What happened to the other thread where I told you to call John Walker? I know you called him, but I was curious about the other thread.

Kenik-The car is in Port Orchard.

John Walker (thanks Scooter) pointed me to an outfit called MaxRPM in Bremerton, but I haven't been able to raise anyone there yet to confirm they do PPIs.

Any ideas closer to Pt. Orchard?

I've had only good experiences with Gerber Motorsport in Seattle. Bill M

Last time I drove past MaxRPM, a few months ago, they looked out of business. I could be mistaken but that may be the reason you can't get a hold of them.

I'd say that the ride across the Southworth ferry to get access to the myriad King County based shops is worth the trouble. Everyone i know in the Tacoma area has their early car service done in Seattle/Eastside.

    Ppi?

Max RPM could help. I'm headed thru that area on Saturday with my 912 - am happy to take a peak at the car for you. cpolyak@gmail.com.
