    ST spare wheel size ?

    Hi All,
    .
What would be the spare wheel size in a , 70-71 2.3 ST ?

So that it fits under a 100-110 litre fuel tank without fouling the hood.? 9, 7 , or a deep six.?

    Thanks in advance

You can put a 6" spare with full size tire on top of a steel 100 liter tank without any cleanance issues. I suspect a 7" would not be a problem either. Can't say about an 8".

    Thanks Brooke,

Trying to source the right sized spare. What was under the bonnet in the works ST ? Surely a 7R or a 7 inch fuch wheel, seeing as they ran with 7s.

    Anymore information, much appreciated.
