    Smile 914-6 GT Eye Candy

A nice collection of special 914-6s shot during a recent photo shoot on the orange car for Excellence. The photos were taken outside of Kundensport in Camarillo, So Cal.
The beige 914-6GT is Hans Lapine's vintage racecar.
The yellow 914-6GT is Tony Samojen's street car.
The yellow 914-6GTR is Martin Jansen's dual purpose race/street car
The orange 914-6 is Tony Samojen's car that has just been restored. It is the first Production 914-6 brought into the USA as a factory demonstration car. An article on this car will shortly be published in Excellence.

    Very cool.

Qn: Do the GT flared cars typically run the same wheel size f+r or do they stagger the sizes like a 911?

Me and Tony at the 'All British Motorcycle Show'

While there I ran into Allan de Cadenet and told him there was a real 914-6GT in the parking lot......... His response was "WHAT?!!!!!!!" ... and walked over to take a look........

Typically they are staggered early on 15 by 6 and 7, nowadays often 7 and 8.

is this the orange car in an earlier life?

i couldn't help noticing the Stuttgart license plates S-M 2383 dating from about 1969 (the factory had a whole batch of "S-M" plates on 911's, both street and competition, 908's and 917's in 1969

i like the period accessories it came with
