    sway bars components

    hi all, i just bought used stock 70-71 sway bars front and rear. can anyone please let me know if anything is missing for an installation, before i bring to the garage to install. bushings look aged. bag of screws and couple of plates.

    The rear mounting clamps are not clearly visible, so this could be missing. I would get all new rubber where possible before installing.

    It looks like your missing the 4 double hole plates and bolt's that clamp arm's to front bar which may be the "couple of plates" you noted. The front bar also looks like a 13MM should be a 15MM on a 70-71 if I'm not mistaken.

    What's in the bag?

    There should be no "screws" ... there should be four 6mm bolts/nuts and four plates with holes.

    If you got "screws" you got screwed.

    Also, do you have the mounting brackets on the chassis and balls on the trailing arms? If you don't then you've got quite a bit of work ahead of you.
