Question regarding SWB rear wheel bearings replacement

    Greetings.
Am in the early stages of getting my '67 ready to be reassembled. Paint is done, and it's now getting polished - pic attached of the car back in it's original Irish Green after having sat in primer for 30 years.

While I'm waiting for the body to return, have been prepping suspension components including the rear trailing arm. New inner/outer bearings were thoroughly packed with greased and installed without any issue. After putting the e-brake assembly on, gently tapped the hub into place followed by the inner bearing race.

Now my question - the hub does not easily spin. I can turn it with my hand with some resistance, but I can't just flick it and let it spin. If I put a wheel on, it will spin given the mass/momentum. Does this sound right? Stupid question, but can one pack too much grease into the bearings? Or are things 'just right'? I haven't built up the 2nd trailing arm yet to compare. When I redid the sealed bearings on my '69, I thought it spun much easier. Opinions greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!
    Pat

Do you have it assembled right? Flat side of the spacer tube in the correct orientation? Gasket in place?
