    Factory ST flares?

    I didn't realize that the ST flares could be ordered from the factory

    I know very little about this, but I thought they were hand built and mostly by private race shops

    Yup, the factory supplied the parts.

    Here is the relevant page in the Karosserie section of the Race Spare Parts List for the 1972 2,5L 911S Competition Type.

    The first two items on the list show the exact same part numbers as those seen in the ebay listing for the grp versions of the front wing extensions.
