1959 356 Coupe, 1600 Super, sold
1960 356 Roaster, race car, SCCA, sold
1960 356 Roadster, show car, sold.
1962 356 Cab, show car, sold.
1965 911 #301111, Red Book Vol 1 "Cover Car," owned 54 years.
1967 911 #307347, bare-bones, some road wear, a little surface rust, and a few dents..., owned 14 years.
1970 914/6GT, (Sold - ran the last three Rennsports)owned 30 years.

Saw that on your blog, John. Pretty cool, though I'm not clear on what class it would run with the flat six and other mods.
IIRC the modified stock 356 record is 151mph on a 1.5 liter flat four. Something I've thought about trying to beat with my own 356.
All it takes is time, more time, money and beaucoup dedication.

Looked it up to be sure... Paul Swanson set the H/GT record in 2003 @ 145.760 mph, a '51 356 powered by a pushrod 1496cc flat 4.
The vid isn't great but worth waiting for 1:18. Killer.
