Thread: More than just a bunch of car guys.

Thumbs up More than just a bunch of car guys.

I appreciate the notes, calls, and photos from the ErsteGruppe crew while I’ve been sitting around healing up and missing all the fun this summer. It will probably be at least a few more weeks before I’m ready to take on a three-pedal cluster after Dr. Dave’s surgical handiwork to repair my severed quadricep tendon. Thanks also to Luke, who came to visit and hang out for a while today. He even took me out for a Starbucks in my 356 Roadster (the only car that I can get in to without bending my leg). He also took my very neglected ’72 out for a spin to give it some much-needed exercise after an idol period that been way too long.

    You guys are the best!

????? Wow, Lee. I had no idea. Really sorry to hear about this — it had to have been excruciating. I hope you have a full recovery and look forward to seeing you again.

Lee- It was my pleasure to help and can't wait until you are recovered and out driving again. The high butterflies I added to your Quad tendon should cut down your lap times

Hmmmmmm. I think I'd like that surgery. Would that be considered cosmetic?
