    Was this a scam??

    Hi guys, my first post

I opened my email today and found an alert for this: http://www.carsales.com.au/private/d...000&sort=~Year

$7,500. It only had one photo, no details, VIN was not a correct VIN. I thought about it a bit more, went back to carsales for another look and it implies sold.

Anyone see it and snap it up?

This car has been up before with many more photos and details presumably legitimate? ... assuming the latest was a scam.

Thanks Dirk. I assumed it was too good to be true then started daydreaming about a widow selling the car based on the Redbook valuation... That would be nice
