    Hot air hoses

I need to replace the two engine to heat exchanger hoses on my SWB '68 (not the red ones). Both are hard and inflexible and one is split. I guess I order from Pelican (which I will), but is there a more immediate 'fix' to keep me on the road until then? These are 60mm ID and thermo resistant. Who supplies such things in Australia?

Not sure if they are the same as the ones used for the fresh air / heater blower (foil and paper?). But if so my local Porsche outfit (Mark Poole - SA) was able to supply. Possible this is a Porsche part?

Yes I guess it is at the OPC. Was looking for alternatives.

Orange race hose - Hi temp can be used and is often seen on cars. I would wait for parts from the Bird as orange stuff is expensive and ugly.

I agree Andy. They are less than half the price from the OPC. It is just the waiting around.
