    Calling 1965 911 owners

    Hi all,

Here at Porsche we planning a 50 year of 911 roadshow, (very early stages of planning) and I thought it would be great to gather the 1965 models around the country to be showcased next to the 50 anniversary edition of the 991.

If you can send me your details and pictures of your car, and if you would like to participate (your car will actually participate not you!), please speak up now. Or if you know of a 1965 (does not have to be Aus delivery) please inform the owner to contact me.

    Thanks so much.

    Here's one I prepared earlier.....

Hey Alex; you know where I hide...... the 901's all yours.

Ahh, been there done that a few times; for the 30th, 40th and now 50th- my first time 20 years ago as a 22 year old for the 911's 30th Anniversary.

Just dug this old clipping out out of the car's files; newspaper article dated 28 Oct, 1993.

Wow, so it's been 20 fast & fun years; thanks SA'119'. Our knowledge of the early RHD cars has come a fair way, too.

How many of the 991 Anniversaries are we likely to get down here Alex? Hope it's more than the 18 x 964 Anniversaries and the 3 x Sport Classics we got !

    Cheers

    Stew.

Hmm, I wish I'd been savvy enough to buy an old porsche in 92/93... Rather than my exotic HQ 1 tonner

You may still own the 65 in 2015. But I bet Tom Waterhouse has good odds on you acquiring a few others between now and then.

There are odds that Tom Waterhouse will be in jail or beaten to a pulp by then also!!!!
