    Rear Quarter Window trim?

    Hello,

Which color should be the inside headliner vinyl trim on the upper part of the rear quarter window, ivory or black?

I'm pretty sure it is ivory up to 1968. The verticals on the back of the b-pillars would be black to match the trim.

Thank you Oscillon, Moito, and classic, so now:

1965-1968: ivory trim / ivory hook
1969-onward: black trim / black hook

anyone can confirm? just to make sure...

my very very late 68 911l has ivory trim .
but the 68L has also different headliner material---so the 68L is maybe a chapter of its own.

the pictured car with the black trim has incorrect screws for the window mechanism.

My mid year builds 69 has black, having said that I've seen a couple of 69ers with beige pinch weld.

Of interest these cars also had beige coat hooks, where other 69ers including mine had black coat hooks.

Transitional thing, utilizing the parts in the bin's is my guess.
