    Headlight wiring routing question ('67)

Where do the headlight/turn signal/ fog light wires exit the front trunk on their ways to the harness 'tube" I've had some new sheet metal upfront and the 'exit' holes are no longer obvious. Possible for someone t o pop a couple photos up? Thanks

Away at the moment, but if no one else posts before tomorrow evening (UKtime) I have some photos from my 66 build. If you look at page 4 of this thread you'll see photos part way down that show the holes low down either side of the front tank support that lead into the tube section sown on the outside, that then leads the wires into the J tube and up into the headlamp bowl.

Back home. Here's a better picture with the two holes circled in red. What might be confusing you is the holes go vertically down through the two side supports for the front suspension pan, then the wires turn 90deg and go out through the J tube support mounts on the inner wing.

    Hope this helps!

Helps a ton! Thanks for taking the time to tale/put up the photo. Looks eerily familiar...

Yeah the main loom runs along the left side under the top of the inner fairing and the headlight wires (a Y- shape) sort of tuck into the front of the fairing stay. only the plugs peak out under the inner panels level with the headlights.

Thanks for the help. Found that a heat gun made things much easier. Now, on to the rear…..
