    Driver side front fender removal

This photo is not of my car but I wanted to know how the fuel lid cable housing is connected where the arrow is? Will this need to be disconnected to remove the fender? Thanks

I`m thinking; it just slips out with/when removing the fender! I`m speaking of the longer tube staying with the fender & the small one is welded to the body..

That's how my car was--just a clear plastic tube that slip-fit into the larger steel tube on the fender joining panel.
