I'm looking for a place to get fuel tanks refurbished.

    Hello,
I have 2 fuel tanks I need to get cleaned out and the inside re-coated.
Anyone know of a place in the greater Philly area (preferably in or around chester county) that does this?

    Thanks,
    Mike

Just an FYI Performance Auto doesn't do this kind of work.
I do appreciate the response, never hurts to check.

    +1 on these guys: http://www.gastankrenu.com/loc-dealer.htm

I used the one in MD for my '68L. See which dealer is closest to you.

There should be a local vendor that boils out tanks and then red coats the insides? We have a place in Atlanta called Sims Radiator, owned by Clay Sims. He will boil and red coat for around $130 if I remember.

I've also used GT radiators in the past. They've been in business for a long time and do great work.
