WTT: 2011 911 GTS Cab for Early 911

    Dear Registry Members,

Help I have a very serious problem. I cannot bring myself to drive my immaculate low mileage 2011 GTS Cab with PDK.

Since my 1972 911T Targa arrived in December, I can't face the thought of driving my modern, sanitised, robotic 997.

It's fast, comfortable, dynamic, well equipped and gets lots of attention but it's not even 10% as much fun as my 911T.

So has anyone got anything they would like to trade because I can't imagine driving anything but a early 911 from now on!

FYI it's the black one on the left that looks sad (and a bit resentful of the 911T) because it does not get to go out.

True but if it's hot enough that you need a/c you probably would not want the roof down anyway!

Full disclosure: these are not my daily drivers, I have a grown up car (with AC) to drive during the week :-)

I have a very nice Grand Prix white, 1972 911T coupe with AC, but it will probably need some attention to get cold air into the cabin. It is matching numbers with COA and nearly all original. Has handbooks and toolkit, recently refurbed Fuchs alloys. I am just getting the front pan and headlining replaced, but the rest of the car is rust free.

What kind of deal are you thinking about?

    Thanks for the heads up.

To trade the 997 GTS I would put a ball park of value of $70-75k (ish). For that sort of money I would be looking for a 911T in perfect concours condition or a 911S requiring work.

OK, no problems, I'll ask again in 6 months when my car's appreciation has matched your cars depreciation ;-)
