    '67 911 front fenders

I have heard that the front fenders on '67s are different than other SWB cars.
Something about a wider lip around the inside of the wheel arch?

Is this true? I need to replace both fronts on my project and want to make sure I'm correct.

    Its true.
You can weld the internal lips into the 68 fenders. Poof...67 fenders.

IIRC the 67 fenders are not available. 99.9% of all restorations I have seen have 68 fenders..

So, what is the dimension of the lip to add to '68 fenders?
    My car was completed mid-December '66 - #307120

Are '65 & '66 fenders not correct because of the 4 screw horn grills?
