    New front fenders from Porsche?

I understand that we can buy brand new early 911 front fenders from Porsche dealers.

Has anybody bought these and can comment on their fit and finish?

IIRC the earliest fenders you can buy are for a 68+

I bought 2 swb front fenders (left and right) for my 68 L ( row, rhd) from my local dealer in Sydney, Australia in September last year

They were ordered on the Monday and arrived (ex Germany I believe) at my repairer on the Friday.

I and the repairer were very impressed with the finish, and the price was very reasonable. The fit was good, there was a little bit of fiddling around to get the gaps perfect, but nothing like the problems they have with some of the aftermarket panels.

My car is now about 10 days away from paint - so I'm very excited about it to say the least.

I also bought SWB fenders last year, they are good but need the lip widened and minor mods for the 4 screw grille on a '65.
Not cheap though I think mine owe me $3400 AUD
