Ignition coil number and date question

I just purchased a Bosch ignition coil. Number 0 221 121 001 and in left corner under this number it reads 829. I am pretty sure it is correct for 70-73 cars, but what does the 829 mean?

    Thanks,

    John

Don't have my date codes with me right, but 8-- should be 78. First # is year. 323 is like march 73. Gled

Thanks Chuck. I saw this chart about a month ago and searched for it, but came up empty.

829 means a 1978 production. I take it a 1978 coil is fine for use in 70-73 cars. Right?
